Australian permanent resident status is granted to individuals holding a permanent residence visa. Although they do not have Australian citizenship, those with permanent resident status can live, work, and study in Australia indefinitely.
The visa is valid for five years and allows the individuals to re-enter the country. After living in Australia as a permanent resident for four years, individuals may apply for citizenship subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria.
Those with PR status can access the country’s Universal Healthcare System and get free education for their children. Tens of thousands of job vacancies are available for skilled professionals, and the government has already invited half a million migrants.
There is a growing demand for an Australian PR because the country is considered one of the top 10 to live and settle.

HOW TO OBTAIN A WORK PERMIT
The process for obtaining a work permit in Canada depends on the permit you are applying for.
For most closed work permits, applicants need an official job offer from a qualified Canadian employer supported by a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA). This assessment ensures that hiring a foreign worker won’t negatively impact the Canadian workforce. Even those exempted from the LMIA or work permit requirements must prepare specific documentation to ensure entry into Canada.
There are two main pathways for obtaining a Canadian work permit.
Closed (restricted) work permits are tied to specific employers. In this type of permit, the foreign worker must remain with the same employer at the same location unless they change their permit. On the other hand, open work permits allow for more flexibility, enabling the holder to work for any employer across Canada.
Understanding and applying for a work permit process in Canada can be complex
but understanding these pathways and requirements is crucial for a successful application.
We can help you with the right preparation and documentation. It can go a long way in securing your work permit and beginning a new life in Canada.
